There are things that I can handle
There are things that I can not
I deal with the weather any day
It doesn’t matter if it’s freezing outside or blazing hot
I can sleep with a faucet dripping
My momma tripping
Skating and slipping
Diving into a chemical waste lake, sipping
On the water.
Begin a man, who has to be an example for
my daughter.
I can deal with a friends lie,
But I can’t handle it when I see the tears of a woman, roll up in the
Corner of her eye
To cry
It touches my soul.
My emotions unfold.
I loose my sense of feeling
Although she is all I want to hold
Hoping that my spirit lightens her soul
Her tears drop on my shirt, they disappear
And like the tears so does her fears
Gloomy eyes become clear
And I whisper in her ear I will always be near
No matter the reason, time nor place
I will be there to gently wipe the tears from her face.
I can stand victorious in a fields where failures lie,
I can deal with anything
Except the Tears of a Woman
To Cry
